EmployHR was founded and is led by Christine Berger, a professional trained in law, human resources, communications, and marketing. Christine’s trajectory has centered on providing holistic HR solutions to clients in the renewables and law practice industries.

Christine
Christine is an innovative, proactive, and resourceful licensed employment counsel and certified human resources professional. She believes that workplaces should exude positivity and excitement.
Christine’s legal background and expertise enables her to provide holistic solutions that respond to her clients’ unique needs and objectives. She has a proven track record of creating, implementing, and scaling HR, legal, and business solutions across various organizations.
Christine has partnered with C-Suite executives, business leaders, and attorneys to achieve corporate goals. She executes on strategic plans by recruiting top talent, resolving complex employee issues, developing clear policies, and implementing meaningful programs. She is well versed across litigation, investigations, training, employee relations, audits, grievances, DEI, and compensation. Accordingly, she has a deep understanding of employment laws, including the FLMA, FLSA, ADA, Equal Pay Act, ADEA, NLRA, and Title VII.
During the course of her career, Christine has led internal investigations, conducted trainings, and established programs. She has trained HR professionals on compliance and has collaborated with customer service and sales teams to sharpen technical skills. Additionally, she developed and implemented robust DEI programs, overhauled standard operating procedures, and drafted strong responses to EEOC charges.
Her work has put an end to employee grievances, enhanced customer communications, and established DEI as a matter of priority. Additionally, her work has resulted in company-wide compliance, $200K+ in revenue, and preventing expensive litigation.
Throughout her trajectory as an attorney, in-house counsel, and HR business partner, Christine has advised and represented local and national businesses and non-profits. Representative clients include Wal-mart, PosiGen Solar, Eurofins, Home Bank, Gulf Coast Bank and Trust, IberiaBank, and New Orleans Speech and Hearing Center.
In addition to her subject matter expertise, Christine is an exceptional public speaker. For example, she has argued in Louisiana’s Fourth and Fifth Circuit Appellate Courts, presented information to universities, and served as a panelist at continuing legal education seminars.
She is also a thought leader on employment law topics and has remained at the forefront of law and policy changes. Her article about the intersection of ADHD and the Americans with Disabilities Act was published by Loyola Law’s Journal of Public Interest Law. More recently, her article on COVID-19 temperature screenings in the workplace has been widely quoted by SHRM. Christine has created a following on LinkedIn by sharing valuable and relatable content on workplace issues and respect.
Finally, Christine is committed to serving her community and serves on the Executive Committee of New Orleans Speech and Hearing Center and the Membership Committee of Young Professionals in Energy.
